For almost a year now, a cat robot has been circling around the tables in the Andulino restaurant in the Mall of Switzerland. The Horwer company is behind the meowing serving trolley Sebotics. Zentralplus stopped by for a look.
Intended as a relief and marketing measure
Immediately in the entrance area, the guest sees the «Bellabot», whose display shows a snoring cat's face. Whether it's cute, funny or childish - that's up for debate. As owner Thomas Holenstein explains, the company itself has little influence on the design. The devices are manufactured by the Chinese company Pudu Robotics.
Sebotics She programs the robots and adapts them, if possible, to the wishes of the customers and prepares the robots for their use in daily business.
