Falstaff Profi brings together the stars of the industry
On Monday, September 05th, 2022, the best players from the hotel industry, gastronomy and tourism will gather in the Seifenfabrik in Graz. They will enjoy a new era of service. Because the service robot BellaBot supports the team on site in carrying dishes and crockery. This allows the team to carry out the most important task of the evening more calmly: offering guests a unique experience.
Proven service robots
The service robot from the Swiss company "Sebotics" have already been tested in Austria and Germany. Because they support the service team in several companies and thus make it easier for employees to carry heavy loads and travel long distances. So much for the Star Night of Gastronomy by Falstaff Profi. Another example is the Hotel Hubertus Mountain Refugio in the Allgäu. Because they use the "BellaBot" to autonomously send the dishes from the individual rooms of the restaurant back to the dishwashing room.
Best employer in the country thanks to robots
According to Thomas Holenstein, CEO of Sebotics, the robots don't just pay for the support of the employees. Because thanks to the easier everyday work, a company with a service robot automatically becomes a more attractive employer. At the Hotel Hubertus Mountain Refugio, employees have to carry around 500kg less dishes per day and walk 5-6 kilometers less.
The service robot, which is now being used for the first time at a major event in Austria, still has a lot of potential in the industry. And who knows, maybe next year at Falstaff Profi's "Star Night of Gastronomy" a company will be voted the best employer in the country thanks to the use of a service robot.
