Gastia Fair 2023

That was this year's Gastia fair: 121 exhibitors and 8.000 visitors. Managing Director Thomas Holenstein from Sebotics is also very satisfied. His service and cleaning robot offered a certain eye-catcher in the aisles of the exhibition hall. They were very well received by the gastronomic trade audience and visitors.

They are unobtrusively elegant, tireless, reliable, safe and purr when you stroke their heads: the service robots from Sebotics. Wherever they appeared in the aisles and booths at the fair, the response was huge.

No wonder, because the lovable design made it easy for visitors of all ages to interact with the robot.

The BellaBot packs a load of up to 40 kilograms onto its four carrying compartments, which it drives safely to its destination. The employee will then receive food and drinks there. “The focus is and remains the human being. The robot only takes weight and distance. This leaves more time for the actual encounter with the guest,” says Thomas Holenstein.

Walter Tobler, President of the St.Gallen Gastro Association, was also impressed: "Six to seven years ago, many in the catering industry would have said that such developments would take people's jobs away." Today, digitization offers opportunities that every company has to "pick out for itself".

The serving robots were well received at the Gastro SG stand. That's why Walter Tobler and Walter Meier, Gastro President Gastro Wil and Sales Advisor Field Service TopCC decided to name the two robots without further ado: Walti1 and Walti2.
