The Black Ross Inn receives a new addition to the team: a state-of-the-art service robot. The new team member – carefully selected so that the service staff can pay even more attention to the guest. The paths between the kitchen and the restaurant will now be the robot's job.

The Service robot BellaBot is equipped with the latest technologies to interact with and support employees. He takes over the delivery of food between the kitchen and the dining room. He transports the used dishes and cutlery back to the washing station. It is controlled with just the push of a button. Before it is used, the robot is configured and familiarized with the routes in the restaurant. He now knows exactly what to do in everyday work. Depending on your wishes and needs, different locations are programmed for your stops. It can also function as a marketing measure. The owners of Gasthof Schwarzes Ross decided to attach a “chalkboard foil” to the robot. This means he can also advertise daily specials, kitchen recommendations or seasonal highlights as he drives past.
Although the introduction of a service robot in the inn is a modern innovation, care was taken not to impair the personal touch and charm of the traditional hotel.
